Dreary

Cold rain and stiff breezes stir dark skies...

This is the way October lets us know that the warm days are behind us,
and frigid days lie ahead.

    Funny; I dunno if it's because you've adjusted the contrast or what, but the photo does not give the Dreary feeling you mention, at least not to me. Not that it isn't good.
