Old Fort Niagara

This is the last in my series of images from Niagara-on-the-Lake. And it contains the same element as the first picture of the series, Old Fort Niagara, across the river and back in the good old United States of America. Land of the free and home to the brave, not to mention the descendants of those who attached the British colony of Canada.

  1. Fine misty light, John, and I love the rectangular framing of the seaside. Certainly not as easy on the eyes as the first image of the series, but, for me, stronger.

  2. Markus is right. Great framing. ALso subdued colors and a sense of tranquility in this image.

  3. I agree with Markus and TFG. This works well in the square format with the framing as you've captured it.
