Being I am still pretty new to the Florida climate I sometimes run into a plant that strikes me as unusual. Doing a bit of research, courtesy of Google, the plant seems to be
Coontie Cycad Zamia and it is poisonous. It is interesting that I found it outside our local hospital. I guess incase you ingest the seeds, at least medical help it is closeby.
