The once great Wurlitzer company in North Tonawanda (north of Buffalo, NY) was a leading manufacturer of musical instruments. The name was synonymous of the theater organs of the '30s and '40s. Wultitzer was also a leading builder of jukeboxes that provided music on demand in diners and bars through the '50s and '60s.Today the Wurlitzer company is no longer active, and this building and complex is used for more mundane uses including a bath showroom.
An era gone.
