This flour mill, gain elevator and storage silo was build along the Erie canal in 1882. It is the tallest structure in Pittsford NY and is a defining landmark in the village. What was old became new when developers recently renovated and converted the vacant space into desirable office space. The silos and grain elevator were even made into a 9 story office tower.
I admire efforts like this to save historic structures. Redevelopment while retaining the character that defines a place is a commendable accomplishment.
