Whacked!

There is a disadvantage to living on the curve in the road.

It is now 2 years in a row that our mailbox got slammed in the middle of the winter. In this case our neighbor saw the school bus back into it. Last year I found a bit of a broken bumper cover and tail light, but no one claimed responsibility.

To put up a new post means first shoveling the snow, than digging a hole in the frozen ground. All done in the cold. Not much fun.

Since we have lived in this house this has happened about 4 or 5 times. Maybe we need to move.
