About 300 miles

I recently published a photo of the drained canal.  This is just another photo, from a different perspective, taken on another gloomy day.

This is very near to my work location, at approximately mile 300 of the 363 mile long Erie Canal.

    There's not a shopping trolley, office chair, pile of builder's debris, old bike frame, tin can, plastic bag or an old mattress in sight. It definitely couldn't be a British canal!

    Well, Colin, that is probably after they've cleaned up here. Don't know what is typical for U.S, canals, German ones would at least contain one bike per kilometer.
