Sudden spring

I am always surprised by the sudden explosion of spring. Where there was apparent lifelessness, now transforms into green. The periwinkle, the crocuses, the daffodils, the forsythia... all spring forth.

And it seems to happen overnight.

It is a wonderful time of year.
