Shades and shapes of green

Sometimes shapes and colors in nature look almost as though they are not real... that they are artificially designed, or maybe cut out from paper.

But it is real life and a testament to the variety and diversity found in the natural world.

    I like the composition of your photo, and the patterns in the plants. Is that little three leaf plant in the background poison ivy? Nature can sometimes sting.

    Those leaves are almost too good to be true - the fascinating point is that the stem is invisible, they appear to operate in a plane above everything else.
