I visited the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo to see the current Monet exhibit, but of course there is a lot to see other than the impressionists.
Like many museums the building is a wonderful mix of old and new, with the original neoclassical gallery dating from 1905 and the modern addition by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill completed in 1962.
Pictured is the original central gallery space with the addition of a Tracey Emin neon piece. I will have more to post this week.
