I don't know of any other business that has such a saturated color scheme. Ikea stores seem to have turned up the color to 11, to the point it seems almost unnatural or even possible. Of course blue and yellow are the national colors of Sweden and Ikea likes to tie their nationality into their identity.
That yellow and blue is certainly eye-catching. We have an Ikea here in Charlotte but I seldom visit. Might be an interesting destination on a sunny day.
ReplyDeleteIkea is the only retail store that I know of that has a suggested flow through the store with projected arrows on the floor guiding you. It is like walking through a museum exhibit. And a pretty good restaurant too. It is an interesting visit.
