Architecture in B&W

I often think architecture looks best in black and white. A little boost in contrast also helps as does dramatic shapes, angles and reflections, all against a noncompeting sky. But maybe it is just me.

  1. I think you're right, John. Especially modern architecture which is mostly shades of gray anyway. A clear blue sky often makes a nice contrast, but a contrasting tone of gray like you have here is also nice.

  2. I agree with Tom. To show gestalt, monochrome is certainly more suitable, as no colors detract from the intended abstraction.
