Do I miss this?

 The short answer is... no.

A photo from exactly 8 years ago. Back when we lived in the northeast, lake effect snow off of Lake Ontario was a common event during the long winters.

I do sometimes miss the soft cold fluffy stuff, but really 66 years in the snowy regions was enough. We have had frost here in Northern Florida this year... in fact we have had quite a few cold mornings over the last few weeks but no snow. Some frosty mornings are no big deal compared to what much of the  country has been dealing with recently.

There are only have a few folks who regularly visit this blog. You may noticed that it has been over a month since my last post. I have been pursuing other interests and my recent brush with COVID has not encouraged me to be out and about, but I hope to get back to photography soon.

Santa's hat

Actully I think Santa's hat is red, but this is still quite a well done light display.

St. Augustine Christmas lights

The St. Augustine historic downtown annually does a really nice job lighting up the holidays which brings the crowds to town. The Lightner museum is only one example. Of course things are a little different this year so I grabbed this shot with my iPhone from my car window while waiting for the traffic light.

Auto show 2020

Our community does a big car show each year and it seems people come from all around to enter and attend. I did a matrix photo similar to this a few years ago and decided to do it again. It becomes a design task as well as a photo task.
