Stoplight

Nobody likes to stop for a red light, but I guess in this case stopping is preferable to going straight.  Nobody wants to be there, or at least they are not in a hurry to get there.

So I recommend a turn. I think left would be good.

    I always felt nervous with your red light system. You operate a different right of way system than in the UK. Used to make me nervous!
