Very nice. I occasionally consider similar things, for example how we can only see in two dimensions with only one eye, so only experience and what our brain has learnt can inform us about distance. Sometimes, only shadows, relative sizes and outlines of shapes can offer visual clues about what the reality was, but our brain is very clever in unravelling the puzzles - all without us realising it. I remember enjoying the concept of 'lines in space' when I was at school.
