Your picture reminds me of a Norman Rockwell cover. Just out of the frame is the farmer, hiking up his overalls by the shoulder straps, and young Jimmy, eagerly looking forward to a day on the farm.
Ok, I'll bite. I like the image itself, but I always like images of antique equipment. I'm not a big fan of over processing images, especially with HDR or over saturated colors. I might have chosen another way to post process this. Perhaps a B&W conversion or a sepia type treatment would work well here. The bottom line is, if you like the image, there's nothing wrong with it.
Or some people are drawn to nostalgia.
