Janelle Lynch photographs with an 8 x 10 view camera, which seems astonishing in this day and age. The equally large "pigment prints" (which I assume means ink-jet with pigment rather than dyes) are very nice but somehow do not seem to deliver the quality boost that would be expected with such a large format.
The Burchfield facility is quite new and a very nice gallery. I enjoyed my visit and the range of exhibits on display. I plan to return and urge others to do the same and offer support to this regional art resource.
This looks like a nice opportunity to see some wonderful art!
ReplyDeleteThat gallery space looks rather impressive.
