Picture window

This is my last post from the Burchfield Penney, at least for this visit.

I am embarrassed to say I am not sure of the artist but I think it is the same as the last post: Jesse Walp. Again, a very interesting sculpture and well crafted.

It is interesting that the art piece is shown in front of a window... a window that almost looks like a piece of art... like a painting. But it is in fact a window to the outside that frames the more well known and long established art gallery across the street... the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.

Kind of a two for one.

  2. I cannot say I am too keen on the sculpture (perhaps it needs to be seen in person) but I do like your photo—your composition especially—very much.
