Runoff control

I guess environmental laws stipulate that all construction sites that involve moving dirt require a means of runoff control. A good idea, but in may cases like this one, it does not seem very necessary or effective.

But rules must be followed.

Nobody likes to stop for a red light, but I guess in this case stopping is preferable to going straight.  Nobody wants to be there, or at least they are not in a hurry to get there.

So I recommend a turn. I think left would be good.

Light reflection

Reflections can be disorienting.  What is up... what is down?

Just beyond the asphalt

At the office where I now work, if you go to the back of the parking lot, and step off pavement, you are suddenly in a different world.

I am sure there is a story behind this, and I think I can figure out what it is.

But this does strike me as pretty funny.
