Orange mulch

Not sure why anyone would pick bright orange for mulch around trees. I does not look natural to me. How do they achive that color? It especially contrasts with the bright wet spring green grass.

Sudden spring

Every year it amazes me how cold wet spring suddenly changes to warm beautiful spring... in just a few days. It seems one day everything looks dead, and the next the lawns are green, the crocus and daffodils are blooming, and the trees are in flower. It really is a miracle.

I have been to two Nordstrom stores and each had several waiting areas outside of the dressing rooms that were uniquely decorated and furnished with comfortable furniture. An obvious sense of design and point of differentiation.
