Twisted perspective

I liked the strong perspective of this view but when I edited in Lightroom I saw it was not quite level. I went to fix it and moved the control the wrong way and decided that this intentional over-correction had more interest and amplified the perspective depth... so I titled it even more.

Noticed

Sometimes simple things in front of your eyes comes together and need to be photographed. I was working some patio lights and set down two of the lantern diffusers. The light and textures appealed to me... so I grabbed my camera.

Golf Course Tree

I am not a golfer but I do like to walk. This roadway transversed the golf course and allowed me a view of the fairway during an early morning walk.

Into the sun

I remember early advice on photography... always have the sun on your back. That makes for some flat and unflattering pictures. Shooting at other angles is more interesting and into the sun can create converging shadows.

I like the way the tree throws a shadow on the wall in the late day sun. It also represents my last post from Italy. It was a great trip and one I will always remember. I took 800 photos, of which many were just personal snapshots, but also found many that were, IMO, interesting enough to post.
